You need more help after birth than before. When you’re pregnant people open doors, carry things, compliment at how much you glow. Once baby arrives - you are on your own, expected to know everything and take care of baby like you have been doing it your whole life.
As if doing it all by yourself is some bullsh*t right of passage. You need a village. Those people are supposed to still be there at this sacred transformation of becoming a mom to this baby.
